Chickens will be put up for adoption after checked Out. The Marin
Humane Society, which collected 375 cf the hens Thursday, taking 250 to
Novato, dropping 100 at its sister agency in Santa Rosa and 25 more to Countryside Rescue and Adoption Center on Guerneville Road in Santa Rosa. - All to be put up for adoption once they've been checked out.

BARK MAGAZINE: Sally(Cover left) is a super sweet, 11
month old Pit Bull mix who arrived a
the Marin Humane Society in Novato (just north of San Francisco
on the
first "Operations Orphans" flight on September 11. When
rescued from the streets of New Orleans, Sally was wearing a red
harness and was in good health.
Just days after her arrival in California, she demonstrated her gentle
and winning personality when she posed with the aplomb of a super model
for noted photographer Amanda Jones. Two weeks later, Sally was
transferred to Countryside Rescue in Santa Rosa, where she is available
for "foster-to"adopt."
